James D. Taylor started the firm in 1987 as a sole practitioner. He is a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and his Juris Doctor at the University of South Dakota Law School in Vermillion, South Dakota. James A. Miskimins joined the firm in 1988 as an associate, then became a partner in 1989. He has lived in Mitchell all of his life, except while earning his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, and his Juris Doctor at the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Support Staff . . .
Karen Lambert is the Administrative Assistant for the firm. She received her BA in Business Adminstration from Dakota Wesleyan University in 1983. Karen retired from SSA in 2005 and brings a wealth of adminstrative experience to the firm. She and her family reside in Artesian, and she is active in several community organizations.
Glenda Mikuska is the firm's Billing Clerk and handles Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables. She is a lifelong resident of Mitchell.
